Job Description:

Objective:

To provide technical expertise and real-time support within the Maintenance Control Center (MCC), ensuring efficient coordination of troubleshooting activities, technical dispatch decisions, and management of Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) situations to maintain operational continuity and flight safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the technical status of the airline's fleet in real-time and provide immediate support for technical issues.
• Coordinate troubleshooting procedures with line maintenance teams and provide guidance based on aircraft maintenance manuals and MEL/CDL procedures.
• Make informed technical dispatch decisions in collaboration with Operations Control and Engineering teams.
• Manage Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) situations by initiating recovery plans, mobilizing resources, and ensuring timely return-to-service.
• Act as the central point of contact for all technical issues during live flight operations.
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication of maintenance actions and decisions in compliance with GACA regulations and the airline’s General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
• Maintain detailed shift handover reports and contribute to continuous improvement of MCC processes.
• Support defect trend monitoring and proactive maintenance strategies to improve fleet reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid GACA Aircraft Maintenance License or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in line maintenance, MCC, or aircraft engineering support, preferably on A320 family aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, MEL procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and coordination skills under time-critical conditions.
• Proficiency in using maintenance software systems and technical documentation.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operations environment, including shifts, nights, and weekends.
• Proficient in technical English (spoken and written).
