Team Lead (Technical Support)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Tolling & Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to oversee day-to-day technical operations and support activities for tolling and ITS solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical expertise combined with leadership capabilities to manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure system availability, and maintain high service quality in a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Tolling & ITS Operations

Lead and support the operation of end-to-end tolling and ITS systems, including servers, software applications, networks, and field equipment such as AVC, ETC, TCS, and lane controllers
Ensure seamless integration and coordination between backend systems and roadside equipment
Support deployment, configuration, and operational readiness of tolling infrastructure

Technical Operations & Support Management

Manage and coordinate software, hardware, and network support teams for efficient incident resolution
Provide hands-on technical support for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault resolution
Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex operational issues
Ensure compliance with operational procedures and service-level agreements (SLAs)

Service Desk & Customer Support

Oversee service desk activities including ticket logging, prioritization, tracking, and closure
Ensure timely response to customer inquiries and effective escalation management
Monitor SLA performance and prepare operational and performance reports
Utilize monitoring, ticketing, and version-control tools to maintain service efficiency

Preventive Maintenance & System Monitoring

Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize system downtime
Monitor systems in real time to ensure continuous availability and performance
Perform network cable troubleshooting and support lane application monitoring
Identify potential issues proactively and implement corrective actions

Process Optimization & Knowledge Management

Analyze recurring operational issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Develop, maintain, and manage technical documentation and knowledge bases
Ensure effective communication and coordination between technical teams and client stakeholders
Promote best practices, standard operating procedures, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications & Skills

Strong hands-on experience in tolling systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
In-depth knowledge of tolling system architecture, including backend systems, networks, and field devices
Proven experience leading technical operations or support teams in a 24/7 environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and network domains
Experience with service desk operations, SLA management, and escalation processes
Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and version-control platforms
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
